Interviews On this page you'll find a sample of some of my interviews and publications
over the last few years.
We start with my most "viewed" interview on YouTube. As of April 2010, this
one with Bart D. Ehrman has received nearly 8,000 views and 100 text comments.
Another of my most viewed and maybe the one I'm most proud of to date was with Pulitzer-shortlisted and New
York Times bestselling author Michael Connelly. Actually did this interview on my 35th birthday.
Here's a recording and event I helped produce for Academy Award winner
Gene Hackman at Quail Ridge Books.
This one is almost painful to watch now because of how terrible I am
in it, but it was my very first video-recorded interview ever. Thanks, K. Robert Campbell for my first video interview!
Over the past few years, I've done almost 200 in-store and library events.
Most of these I record. Here's one of my favorite with memoir author Elaine N. Orr.
Here's an in-studio interview with veteran crime reporter Amanda Lamb
on her book about a true crime murder in my hometown of Raleigh.
Prior to starting my TV show and interviewing folks on camera, I got
my start interviewing a few people for various publications. Here's a sample of what's still circulating on the internet in
2009...
"Interview: Jennifer Colt", an interview with Jennifer Colt published in January Magazine September 2005.
"A Conversation with Joe Bob Briggs", my first actual professional interview sold for money was with Joe Bob Briggs and was published in Cemetery Dance
Issue No. 47, January 2004
"Into the Wind", one of my earliest published short stories. North Carolina Literary Review Issue No. 12, 2003
